Boehringer Ingelheim invested more than 50 million Euros in the facility for the production of newly developed pharmaceutical ingredients. Multiple extensions to Testo Industrial Services in Kirchzarten.
New areas for accredited calibration laboratories, various open-plan and individual offices, meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art training center and new logistics areas have been created.
In order to meet industry standards and to guarantee the accuracy of measurements, the Testo laboratories in Kirchzarten have to maintain stable ambient conditions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This is achieved by a unique ventilation and air-conditioning concept.
As part of the expansion, the wooden pellet heating system was expanded. Energy is by ten geothermal probes. In addition, a photovoltaic system on the roof generates additional electricity, which is fed into the public grid.
